External USB netbook Hard drive
Its been along time since i have posted on netbooks, but my cash flow dried up. I have not got some new products to review, that hopefully you netbook fans will find useful.
Most recently i have bought a WD Passport, by western digital. Its a stylish looking USB 2.0 hdd. Its also usb powered and very small. They are available in a range of sizes, i went for the 250gb version.

Comes in nice packaging, with some syncing software and the USB lead needed to connect it to your computer.

Sorry i didn’t have anything to show the scale, but it is really small and the finish is great, matching my black eee pc 901 down to the ground!
I have some other products sitting here st netbook hq, and will get some info and pics about these up here ASAP.

Netbooks had just found there best friend. Micro projectors!
Its been a while since i have posted an netbook games on the netbook site. Darwinia is a brilliant indy game. You control an army of green stick men who mus remove the virus that plagues the virtual world. Its very addictive, easy to play and great fun. The developers have fairly recently released a multiwinia to play the game online.

Sony have unveiled there latest portable printers. The DPP-FP67 and the DPP-FP97 Digital Portable Photo Printers. They both allow for printing 4 by 6-inch photos on demand. Both printers have LCD screens, so you are able to edit and adjust your snaps before you print. Printing takes around 60 seconds per picture. The main difference between the models is that the DPP-FP97 along with printing the regular media files also features a HDMI port and supports Compact Flash. I look forward to seeing these in the shops. They are set to hit the shelves in May, hopefully in time to take some lovely photos of the summer, if it ever comes!!

Intel seem unable to keep up with the demand for there highly successful Atom CPU. It has become the bread and butter of netbooks processing power.

Some one by the name of brotato has made “the poor mans netbook” this DIY modders dream has a 14.2″ LCD in a great looking carry case! The PC has a dual core 1.6Ghz Atom processor with 2Gb Memory, 160GB HDD and bluetooth and WiFi. The creation is for sale on ebay, i dread to think what price it will end at! It apparently comes with XP installed, but has been made to run Windows & and Max OS X, but the bluethooth didnt work onthe latter two.
