Its been along time since i have posted on netbooks, but my cash flow dried up. I have not got some new products to review, that hopefully you netbook fans will find useful.

Most recently i have bought a WD Passport, by western digital. Its a stylish looking USB 2.0 hdd. Its also usb powered and very small. They are available in a range of sizes, i went for the 250gb version.

Comes in nice packaging, with some syncing software and the USB lead needed to connect it to your computer.

Sorry i didn’t have anything to show the scale, but it is really small and the finish is great, matching my black eee pc 901 down to the ground!

I have some other products sitting here st netbook hq, and will get some info and pics about these up here ASAP.

Please check out our very own amazon store for our netbook5 recommended products: Netbook Store

If you have any neat products and would like to let us know how you got on with them let us know!

I chose, after much thought, an ASUS EeePC 901 in black with windows XP. I took a few pics, of the box and whats inside it!
I didn’t take many because I wanted so badly to get my hands on it!!

The box... Trust me it didnt stay in it for long!

I loved the case they included and loved the cleaning cloth, trust me you need it on the black eeepc!" width="300" height="225" />
This is what was in the box, XP and Software CD, the usual manuals and bits of paperwork, if it ever goes really wrong.

This is my eeepc on first boot, love the splash screen design

Noe i have just updated the bias, i was along way behind the times, looks like this netbook has been on the shelves for a long time!

Now it boots loads quicker, is more stable when overclocking. You dont see this splash screen as the boot time is too quick!
